I have a '87 Firebird with the wrap around spoiler. The paint is chipped and look like it may have been repaired in the past. I am looking to either repair or replace, and looking for tips or ideas... OR just a good place to find one at a decent price. Any help with be great!

 

My 88 GTA has the wraparound spoiler (obviously) and it is warped and the paint is cracked. I have been looking for solutions, and it seems as though these spoilers are known for being crappy.

You can buy an aftermarket fiberglass one, but they are not cheap. I was thinking about taking mine off the car, and trying to cover it in fiberglass. It might not work, but then I could always still replace it.
