I've got the door of my '86 camaro halfway taken apart.

I'm trying to replace the weatherstripping, and I think there's a hidden screw behind the door panel. I'm pretty sure, because when I tried ripping it out, I cut my hand wide open (bleeding on my laptop).

I've been lookin for 20 minutes for directions on how to take this thing apart and can't find anything detailed. Basically, how to I get the lock handle (the thing that's part orange) through the plastic trim plate? the handle won't be any problem,but I can't figure any way to get that lock handle off of there.

any replies before sunset would be appreciated.

 

you have to take the handle away from the door to get the plastic lock off it might take some maneuvering ti get it off of the metal rod but it will come off

 

Thanks. I looked it over real good, and I gave it a yank, and it popped right off.
