hello i have a new not used new gta style hood and am wondering whats it worth i have an idea but was looking for more imput

That's a good question -- unfortunately, my answer is going to be 'whatever someone is willing to pay for it'.
I'm assuming this part is no longer in production, and although it is a Trans Am-specific hood, it came on EVERY 1985-92 Trans Am and GTA, so it's not really a rare part, and it's not a frequently damaged part either (other than major accidents) as it's kinda hard to get door dings on a hood, and it's not low enough on the body to have major rust issues.
I would assume that when it was still available from GM, the hood probably listed for around $800. Used hoods now in average condition might change hands for around $200. I'm assuming yours is finished in black primer if it's never been painted, so if someone is looking for a hood that's already painted to match their car, yours might actually be worth LESS to them.
I would probably ask around $300-400 for this hood if you're looking to sell it in a reasonable amount of time.
