I didn't know where else to post this so I figured here since it deals with a hood. I am selling my 84 T/A OEM hood on craigslist and some dude from Europe sent me an email really interested in it. I am selling for $50 but he offered $200 and to pay the shipping. He offered to use paypal. I'm just worried about someone trying to scam me. What do ya'll think? Is it safe and scam free to use paypal or should I just avoid it?

 

I wouldn't - it's gonna be a hassle larger than $150 to even try to ship it. Just tell him you have no method of shipping it, and no time to do it, and leave it at that.

There's alot of "prepay for the shipping" scams out there on craigslist, I don't even entertain out of town sales unless they are picking up, let alone out of state or country!

Pass on it.

 

Thanks for the info. I think I will avoid it. I was leaning towards avoiding it anyways just wanted a second opinion.

 

might not be a scam, bit its going to cost more that 200 bux to ship it overseas
