Bought my 88 in 07 off a body shop that fixed and sprayed the car in 02. Put a new gas tank and sending unit along with fuel and brake lines and then the car wouldnt start and ended up sitting ever since 07...untill last month. Got it running, ended up being the fuel pump(go figure) now to the body. The underneath is pretty crusty, has some holes. Rotted where the body plug is under the pass side back seat, has big rot hole in the drivers side floor that goes into the inner rocker and up the firewall. Inner rockers on pass side starting to go, drivers side lower fenders rotted(found that out today after taking the side skirts off) I've completley gutted out the car because seeing the underneath made me uneasy but its not too bad from inside of the car. Reason i made this thread is im wondering about the floor pans they make and if they are worth the 300+ or if i should just start patching. Any input on aftermarket parts also would be sweet. I know they get pretty pricey but if it's worth it then i'll go that route.
