Anyone ever try these?

So I'm looking at some body parts for my 89 RS, thinking about some aftermarket fenders, a different hood, and a replacement spoiler. I was just wondering if anybody has used these fenders / hood before and how well they fit -

Fenders: http://www.ilovebodykits.com/product...t_Fenders.html

Hood: http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/ca...turbohood.aspx

Won't be buying these for a little while, just shopping around for the moment but wanted to know how well these would fit. Any other suggestions for fenders? I may just keep the originals if these won't work for me.

You sure know how to pick the worst looking body parts out there... I bet those fenders will fit like they look, crappy.

There is a thread with the fenders. He had to notch some support to get them to fit. Try a search.

Re: Anyone ever try these?

if your comfortable with metal work you can make your own vents to match those fenders like this member did https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/memb...28-iroc-3.html

Re: Anyone ever try these?

i dont know about buying body part(s) from an place called I LOVE BODYKITS lol, the name just sounds fishy to me.

Personally i dont mind the turbo hood and it could really decent if three was some minor touch ups with it. But i think it would be smarter to buy the fenders somewhere well known and get the turbo hood if you want.

But why do you feel its necissary to have all these flashy body parts?

Yeah I agree with you on the site, I guess I just like the look of the vented fenders but I'm probably gonna stay with the original, just because I've heard a lot of people have problems with the aftermarket fenders fitting right.

The hood I really like though, so I'll probably end up getting that. Rebuilding the engine currently so it'll be a while before I worry about how it looks, but thanks for the input guys!
