Emarrasing window noise
Has anyone had a window problem when you raise them and they make a embarrassing screaching sound? Has anyone ever fixed the problem? Any advice would help.

Either the felt has worn off on the glass stabilzer or it is too tight.Either way you have to remove the door panel to replace/adjust it.The stabilzer is at the very top of the door.Just under the plastic trim at the top.There are 2 of them.
Sometimes when they are very dirty mine will squeek just a bit, but nowhere near yours.Maybe try cleaning the inside of the window.

OK. The stabilizers are the metal pieces with felt and are about 1 1/2 right?
