wheel well rust. what should i do

Im in the process of restoring my iroc. i have the front end and engine compartment done now im in the wheel wells. where all the seems are rotted away where the wheel well meets the back of the rear seats. Whats the best way to keep rust from coming back after i replace the wheel wells and some metal from behind the seats? the rust has always been an on going issue. I did the body once 5 years ago and that rust wasnt there. I fixed all the other rust spots now it decided to come out there. whats the best way to keep rust ferom coming back

The metal is too smooth, it needs something to bond to the surface. That's what Metal Ready is for.
I tried painting it over rough sanded surfaces and it didn't hold up very well, but with Metal Ready it's tough as nail.

Anywhere they sell por-15..

Otherwise you can use phosporic acid, thats pretty much all metal ready is. Follow the same directions that you would for metal ready.
