Ned Help: Mounting Hood Louvers

I just got a new hood and louvers from a friend, but he didn't have any of the hardware to mount the louvers to the hood itself.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to do mount them without the original hardware?

Or has anyone made up their own way of mounting the louvers securely?

The IROC version simply uses speed nuts with a bit of automotive caulking to prevent leaking.
