1989 Firebird with a 455

Hello,
I am new here because I just found a 1989 Firebird that I am interested in. Me and my dad have a few older Pontiacs, and my dad has an old 455 that used to be his race engine that is sitting in our garage complete. I found a 1989 Firebird that was gutted with a roll cage but no engine for really cheap. I was wondering if anyone knows how hard it is to fit a 455 into an 89 Firebird. I looked and can't find anyone that has done it before. Does anyone know what it would take?
Thanks!

welcome to tgo! i'd love to see the swap done! this thread may help you out: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...-v8-swaps.html also i think you posted in the wrong section. there's an engine swap section here:https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engine-swap/ that you should post in as i'm sure more members would be able to better help you. hope this helps.
