I have searched for so long and still cannot find the answer I am looking for. Looking at buying a GTA that needs doors. I can find Camaro doors a lot easier and more reasonably priced than Pontiac doors. Is there a difference? By pics they look real similar, possibly the same. From the 2 dimensional pictures I cannot distinguish the body lines being the same or not. Unfortunately the GTA and Camaros I have access to are stored for the Winter. So, any comments on interchangeability?

 

My guess is all 3rd gen doors are the same.

Hopefully someone that actually knows can confirm.

ok so i did some research on tgo here and it appears that 82-92 camaro/firebird doors are the same... from what ive read on this site!

All camaro firebird doors are the same. Through the years they did different stuff inside, like the front triangles on the later model cars has a replaceable weather strip in it. You can bolt camaro doors on your GTA just fine. The only thing I would check is that all the riveted brackets on the door are the same between the two.
