Hi guys, Ive got a 91 Ta and I was wanting to swap out my 91 nose for a (preferably 82-84) but I would settle for a 85-90 front bumper...My question is that I have heard of having to modify the 91 fenders in order to make the 82-84 nose work...however do the 85-90 noses swap easier than the 82-84 and what all is involved in changing them out besides the headlight assembleys?

 

No modifications to fenders. Your crash bumper should be different for 91/92, and the plastic that is rivited to that crash bumper is different for 91/92.

Compatable list:
Fenders 82-92, although 82-84 has a harder fender flare lines.
Crash bumper : 82-84 look different, but 82-90 is the same shape, 91-92 is diff shape
Crash bumper plastics : 82-84; 85-90; 91/92 all reguardless of trim (RS-Z28 and Bird-T/A)
Covers : 82-84 will bolt up to a 91/92 with modifications to the plastic, or replace the crash bumper and plastic underneath.
Hood : 82-92 will all interchange
Bumper upper frame is the same from 82-92 as well
Headlight door FRAMES : 82-92
Headlight doors : 82-90; 91/92
Headlight Bezels : 82-84 (Squarish); 85-90 (rounded); 91/92 (no visible front bezel like 82-90)
