Notchback Hatch alignment is off

Hey guys - I know this question has been asked, but I'm kind of in a more unique situation with the notchback vs. regular glass back. Looking at the car from the back, the passenger side sits too high. I can't replace the struts because mine are different from the standard ones. But I did try it without the struts and it's still the same (boy this thing is heavy). It doesn't sit too far OUT (doesn't stick out from the back), it's just not even from left-to-right. I should also point out it's aligned beautifully along the top side (window) area. The mis-alignment is just at the latching side. Any good suggestions?

Hey Joe, you got mad artists skills!
I sold my notchback a couple weeks ago, I really liked it, but I decided to return to stock with my Kitt.... so now there are even less... Are your struts still good? I'd see about fabbing up the hatch end mounts so you can use the stock ones if possible... Let me know how the aligning goes.... with the sale of my notchback, I'm finally getting some upgrades done, new Spohn A arms, new springs, new Spohn steering kit, some poly bushings and some body work done

Bump stops aren't the issue. Raf - struts are still good. Was hoping not to have to do any mods to get different ones

They are all like that, have yet to see one that doesn't flex up in the right corner a bit.

I fixed mine by adding deck pins

Also often don't line up well left to right, still need to elongate the holes in the car body to adjust mine a hair more.

I like the deck pin idea. Would love it if they made "hidden" versions of these so they don't stick out as much.

Lots of similar fastners, could use flush mount quick turns like on a race car.

Seen flush mount ones that are smooth key locks to lock a hood.

I went the quick $9.99 route
