Possible Alternative when adding rocker panels?

Okay so i manage to pay only 250 for my entire 92 gfx kit including the nose and rear bumper cover, so then the next day i mount the z28 nose on along with the spoiler no issue easiest part so far. Then comes the rocker panels, i drilled a hole in the fender to bolt half of the panel on but then i hit dead end hoping to bolt the other end on and came up short...but seriously is there an alternative to having to weld sheet metal to the side of the car? If not how much could i be looking at just to have this done? Somebody has had to of taken a detour around this...

-Thanks to whom responds...

Re: Possible Alternative when adding rocker panels?

Could I just bolt on small brackets to the side of the car to mount the rocker panels similar to ones used to hang up blinds?

Drill out brackets from donor car and pop rivet them back on your car.

You will have to or build your own as they are completely different from other years. I was gonna do the swap my self but couldnt do it when it came to drilling and welding it to mine. Ended up selling them.
