just wondered about the swappable parts/ un swappable parts from a early model(83) to a late model(90-92) camaro. reason i ask is cuz my 83 z28 jus got rear ended and is gonna be writtten off. i plan on getting a newer 3rd gen cuz i just love this gen of camaros. should i buy it back if price is right for a parts car??
is the suspension usable?(all the stamped pieces were swapped out for a full BMRs chromoly suspension setup. Panhard bar and ladder bar are heim/rose jointed pieces, control arms are poly bushings, BMRs race springs, and the front end is also a coilover conversion. also have a bmr torque arm bar with the adjustable end.)

Pretty much everything will swap between 82-92. Some parts may be differnt (dash style, sway bar size, etc)...but they will swap.

All the insurance company is going to do is sell it to a junk yard where its going to go to the crusher... might as well make some money off of it parting it out... my
