My 82 restoration
Now that my engine and trans are solid and functioning, its time to start tackling my rough rough body. I got a new door from a TGO member and some seats last week, and a fender i had gotten a long time ago. I Started with the collision damage that was the entire passenger quarter, it has been hit twice, it was damaged for so long that rust through happened on the lip close to the door.
I didnt take pictures of the damage before working on it,

Got these seats from thirdgenparts, dropping them off for some black leatherette

Re: My 82 restoration
plenty of rust

This was completely submerged into the hatch area,4 hours into that so far

this was pushed in on both sides an inch, 6 hours so far into these

So much time into this quarter started at the back and working my way forward, i dont want to have any bondo except for a light shade to smooth out imperfections, once i get my machine i can weld the rust through up.
