I currently have a 1985 Firebird that's got a really wrecked interior, a dented front hood and bumper and a dashboard that's literally crumbling. After a bit of Craigslist searching though, I found someone parting out a whole 1987 GTA Trans Am that has all these parts I need. Would the 87 Trans Am parts fit on the 85 Firebird though?

 

most parts should line up fine. there were suttle changes through the years but as far as i understand they were mainly mechanical and not involving the interior and exterior

 

What mechanical parts are different, I’m looking to swap drivetrain and suspension parts if possible
