different ground effects over the years? - Firebird
Maybe I've been totally mistaken over the years, but are the ground effects on my 84 "Thinner" than the ground effects on the GTA beneath? I've allways thought that the gfx on these cars remained unchanged from 84 and up? But by comparing the pics the gta looks more "beef" than mine

There is nothing wrong with your eyes. '83 Daytona 500 Replica Edition and '84 T/A W62 ground effects are thinner than '85-up.

It looks like you have an 85-90 nose and front fender gfx.The 84 front ground effect is one piece and mounts to the fenders also..the side and rear gfx appear to be 84 though

Yup I have a newer fascia and taillights, but still have the cowl hood, so it's a bastardized little T/A i got there
Going for the 85-up look with newer hood and wrap around, but leaving the gfx as they are. they look pretty neat I think
