Firewall swap for dash swap...anyone done it?

Firewall swap for dash swap...anyone done it?
Looking for a 2000+ V6 camaro to start resurrecting my IROC.
Instead of being held back from full functionality because of the stock firewall, considering my car is stripped anyway, I'm strongly considering swapping my firewall. Has anyone here done this to keep all functions during a 4thgen dash swap?
I'm looking to use the entire electrical system from a 4thgen, taillight to headlight, 0411 conversion and all. I'm considering it a restomod.
The bodywork I can do, down to the paint.
