86+ Front Bumper and GFX on 84 Camaro?
86+ Front Bumper and GFX on 84 Camaro?
I fount this picture on google of a Camaro (year unknown)84camaroz28.jpg?t=1255571171 I don't think the the OEM bumper will bolt onto the ground effects shown in the blue camaro, but i was wondering if i got a bumper/gfx combo if they would bolt onto the existing fenders and follow the body lines. Also are the sideskirts interchangeable as well?

In that pic, the gfx are from a 91-92. I'm not sure if the front lip will boltup to an 84, you'll probably need to also get a 91-92 front bumper. The sidekskirts should go right on easily, since as far as I know they didnt change the length or anything on third gens. I'm no expert on this though.

You definitely need the '85-'92 front bumper and '91-'92 rear bumper to pull off that look. Also there are special long brackets that weld on under the door that hold up the GFX because they are a softer rubber like materiel that sag without the bracket.
Personally if I were you I would keep it the way it is. Yours look to be in good shape and with a little work those early skirts can really look clean with some bigger wheels and slightly lowered all around.
(just my opinion)
