solutions for (82) hook type T-top

First, the plastic edge trim on glass. After much searching, could not find anything other than styrene (model plastic) in the correct size. Used the attached self-gripping trim, mitered the corners & fill with black RTV. Going on a year with no leaks or fade.

Second the driver side top was constantly working loose. At first thought just the hook receptacles needed adjusting for wear. Found that with top on bench the hooks could be de-latched with minimal finger pressure. Actually found the culprit to be the spring steel catches on attd. Shim underneath them, they dont want to bend back again.
