Duraflex hood

Axle/Gears: 342 Limited slip
Duraflex hood

Has any one here ever put a Duraflex ram air hood on a Firebird and how did it fit I have one and Im having a hard time getting it to fit

it doesnt fit, its a cheap hood and ive seen people try everything to make it line up correctly

yeah I am sending the thing back tomorrow and get a refund are there any out there that fit like the OEM hoods man this is a bummer it is going to cost about $250.00 bucks shipping

Yes my buddy had one of those hoods and couldn't get it to fit. I also would like to pick up a ram air hood. But one that does fit. Did you end up finding a better hood?

I don't know if it will fit any better than the duraflex but this is the hood i have been looking at.

that hood wont fit^^^ thats a camaro hood. you have a firebird. firebirds have the headlighs that are in the way.

Not just that, but the nose is a good 4: lower, from the wheels forward. So there is a big slope

A little searching here on TGO would do you wonders. You would have already read that Duraflex is not good, not have wasted your $ on one & found other suppliers/brands that people are happy with.
