The 84 is getting some rust spots, smallish but odd locations?

OK! Hey everyone. Havent posted in awhile. Rough summer, and i -THINK- my 84 is in a Jacksonville FL apartment parking space.. but i need to get down there. Left it with previous owner, idk?

Anyways. The car is developing some rust spots! On the B-pillar, drivers side, where a Firebird log would normally go, and another on the wheel well. You cant see them here, but. What to do?

Thanks.

They arent "bad" yet but they are visibe. NOT rusted through, no idea how they got there. FL car, no real humidity except heat, not snow or cold.

Anyone?

.. please?

Why are the rust spots forming? They are minor now, but what to do? Thanks, its worrysome on my nice car! I can catch it before it spreads.. What to do, i am a body NEWBIE.

Please help me here. And i DONT know may be something "obvious" or "basic" or "common knowledge" to the seasoned bodyshop pros, if there is anything im missing as to the rust, please share! Thank you (i really know next to nothing about paint, except "clear coat makes it shiny and is supposed to protect it like wax" thank you, and that has no relevance to what im asking, just saying so you will know that i need helped out a little to a lot of bit here as to these spots, thank you. I dont want to get rail-roaded at a shop, either - and that is what they do when they see my young self and my car.)

Thank you.

Sand rust completely off, primer, and paint.

If you just use primer use clear coat as well. Primer soaks in the moisture

A little bit of body filler might be needed to smooth out the pitting, if any, as well. Try running a search on this forum too and you'll find a lot of info about rust.
