arent the newer corvettes floorpans fiberglass? can anyone give any reason why ive never seen this done to a camaro? ..besides the weak subframe excuse lol..seems like it could be a good way to lose some weight

I dont know specifically what the Corvette pans are made of. It is probably SMC (sheet molded compound).
