ok i have a 92 camaro rs had a steel hood will my gas shocks woor on my new
oem chevy crosse fire hood its the fiberglass one.

Rock auto lists two different part numbers for steel versus CFI (fiberglass) hood struts. I would not use your existing struts as you may crack the hood when you attempt to close it.
