What kills these cars for me is the stock doors, I mean the car is so wide in the front and back then the door is so far in. That red one does not look bad, when they are clean they lok okay, that EBAY car is travesty

first of all it is against thirdgen.org's rules to post links to or photos of cars just to make fun of them.

second of all you may not like the style of that body kit but you should respect the work that goes into those kits.and also people like you that post cars just to make bash them are exactly the reason 90% of the most custom unique inspiring thirdgens dont come on this board with more than a couple blurry pics most of the time

Very creative I have to admit. Almost looks like It's trying to be an 80s style lambo. Not exactly my cup of tea however. These cars were meant to be domestics, not exotics.

It kind of looks like a 80's Porsche and a 4th gen bird got together to start a little family of their very own. I like the interior and with a paint job and a engine/interior clean up it wouldn't be too bad. Not sure about the starting price, but that's because of the condition its in, not how the changes look.

Re: omg, look at this thing!!
They did tons of stuff like that with the Fiero. Actually some of those were pretty good. There was a company name Corson Motors that did beautiful kit cards with v8's in Fieros and they were first class. Most are crap.

No where in the OP's original post did he insinuate that he was posting for the sole purpose of starting a flame war. I guess, "omg..." could have qualified, but it just as easily could have been, "omg, this thing is awesome!".

Was thinking the exact same thing. Doesn't say anything anywhere in the topic line or first post that even insinuates that he wants to make fun of the car, might just as well be that he is looking upon it with great admiration and awe.....

Only two Fieros for sale at the moment on the largest internet market site in Norway and this is one of them:
http://www.finn.no/finn/car/used/obj...nkode=30876534
Edit: That's just over 60k miles and an asking price of around US $ 25k by the way....

Re: omg, look at this thing!!
The fiero was a great donar car but to do them right they had a kit to stretch the frame 2 inches, that gave the Lambo a more real look. The stock wheelbase was always a dead give away

Re: omg, look at this thing!!
Anything newer than 30 years old is insanely expensive in Norway...
Just as an example, this is a typical 3rd gen at a normal price here:
1986 at 140k miles, asking about US$ 14k...
Will be a bit cheaper once we hit 2016, but we still need to pay the shipping to get them over here....

Edit: Forgot the link: http://www.finn.no/finn/car/used/obj...nkode=30856145
Has to be mentioned that this looks extremely good compared to the milage.... As many cars over here, since the basic price is high, many will be well taken care of.....

Re: omg, look at this thing!!
people as it was said before
think of the workmanship it took to get those panels to fit correctly.
everything we do to our cars is not going to please everyone, but respect the persons choice to do what they do.
I have a lot of people in person and on here say they don't like something about my car....well to bad...I didn't build it for you.....
I like the idea that someone would take the time to do something different, isn't that what's it all about.
Are we REALLY looking for anybody's approval to build something different?
There are a lot of post on here that start with "What do you think"
do you care what we think??? it's your car, to drive, look and wash it.
I feel better now

You would think the seller would have the sense to clean the car before trying to sell it? the floors are filthy.
IMO, Ugly as sin, but a lot of weird stuff came out of the 80's

All the people reprimanding those for expressing their opinion just because it is negative need to calm down. Everyone has a right to there own. It is ugly, after all. Some are content studying the workmanship some like to bask in a clean final product. To each his own, including the builder.

Re: omg, look at this thing!!
We had one of those Trojan Firebirds around here years about. I walked into my dads body shop one Sat. morning and it was sitting in the shop.
They were definitly different, but kinda cool for what it was.

Wow, that's easily the worst condition Tojan I've ever seen. Usually they're pretty nice. That's going to be a TOUGH restoration if the car makes it to that point. Guy is seriously dreaming though starting the auction at $6k.
