Just curious as to how many of you are using Optikleen instead of the aftermarket windshield wiper fluids? Everytime I go buy some from the dealer parts department, they look at me like i'm wasting my money.

Re: Optikleen
What do you use? I just find that using the Optikleen keeps the tank from turning all sorts of colors. Example, I use the green bug guard stuff in my Explorer and that tank is now green.

Re: Optikleen
I use the cheap stuff !! does the job. The tank will usually start to fade and become brittle over the years depending on how close to heat and the composition of the plastic.

Re: Optikleen
Guess the tank I put in ten years ago is the good plastic then. I've only used Optikleen since since I put it in. The old tank, I used the 99 cent cheap no name stuff from the auto parts store and it clogged the filter, left nasty deposits on everything.
