82-84 crossfire hood hood strut ?
ok i have a 92 camaro rs and i put a z28 cross fire hood on it with out the flaps. And i wanthed to know if i can yous my 92 steel hood struts on the glass hood and can you add the flaps into a noflapper hood thanks for a reply.

the steel hood weighs more, so the struts push harder on the hood. the same pressure pushing on the lighter fiberglass hood leads to cracks. you can use a wore out set of steel hood struts too.
