Hatch pull down motor and OEM lock housing

I bought an OEM trunk lock which I wanted to install. But as I compaired the lock to the clearance of the pull down motor frame, I noticed that there may not be any room to install the lock cylinder with the lock cable. The picture below explaint what I mean about the clearance issue. So can somebody tell me if they are using the lock cylinder along with the lock cable? If so, how is it routed (black cable). Do you have pictures of your setup? Thanks...
