Does anyone have a shattered T-Top laying around?

Dear Friends,

I am building my third gen race car and I want to replace my glass T-Tops with lexan. I don't want to destroy the old ones, as there is nothing wrong with them. SO i'm hoping i can meet somebody who broke theirs and replaced them.

SO, I would like to buy a pair of HW for my 87 IROC from anybody who has a broken one. (or pay shipping from somebody)

What I meant to say is that I will supply my own lexan, i am just looking for the Latch and metal parts.

This was in the "PARTS WANTED SECTION" with no replies, so I am cross posting it here, hoping somebody in the "BODY" section will see it and help me out.

Thanks!

Dude, there's a junkyard by me that has several sets of lexan t-s. None of them look great, so you might get a good deal. Located in Cartersville, GA. BTW, I have a driverside that I broke and kept the latch and plastic (I think).

So you have a driver's side Latch. would you be willing to part with it?

I am looking for the lightest possible setup, so I don't need the plastic and it seems that the lexan GM ones are 12 pounds compared to 16 from glass. I believe that the ones I would make would be much lighter than 12.

So, i'll take your driver's side if it's offered -- i can either meet you or pick it up, OR i can even pay shipping if you'd like to do that way..

let me double check. I'm pretty sure I kept it and will part with it if I did. I think I just wanted the plastics anyway. will let you know.
