I just purchased an 87 Flame red GTA with red interior that is all stock. I have read the difference in wheels that make 87 models unique and I notice mine aren't the 87 wheels. Mine have the dimple at the base of each spoke like the later models. Also of all the 4 center caps, all of the round inserts are missing except one which is intact and is also the later WS6. I have all the documentation that proves the car is a 87 GTA and it has the white sticker even inside the glove box door. I was wondering if ALL 87's has a slightly different wheel with the gold bird inserts or if by chance some later in the year produced models got the 88-92 GTA style with the WS6 center? I'm going to make it original and need to know what to do. There is also some concern on the red Interior color which looks bright like Torch Red, but I here only Carmine red was used? Puzzled.
