TA GTA'91 fenders

Hi,
Does anybody know where I can buy new fenders for my TA GTA'91?
I've found ones on Rockauto (55 USD each) but shipping is over 340 USD (from 2 different warehouses) :-/
Most stuff I've found are used parts. I am looking for a new ones.
Thx for info

Re: TA GTA'91 fenders

Go used, I wanted new ones too, then a buddy of mine got 2 aftermarket brand new fenders for his Camaro, biggest PITA to install, I had to remove the brackets, measure, and re-weld them on before they would be anywhere near aligned, and the steel was terrible, they are thin and flimsy. They ended up looking pretty good on his car, but only after a lot of work. If you are a body guy then the new stuff might work out for you, but I'd recommend finding good fenders on a car being parted, check craigslist or the pull-a-part yards, thats how I ended up with a nice set of T/A fenders for 50$.

Re: TA GTA'91 fenders

I concur, I would avoid new body panels....fit and finish is usually very poor compared to used originals. I see your problem though, I'll bet you can't go to any junkyard in Poland and find a dozen third gen's there.

You should look for one from a 1991-92 T/A, GTA, or Firebird (but ONLY if the Firebird has the optional factory body kit). You can use earlier Firebird years, but you will need to drill holes for mounting the ground effects. Just make sure it doesn't have the large side vents in it that would only be correct for earlier Trans Am's.
