Early 3rd Paint questions
A search turned up about 1000 results on my keywords, but none of the threads I browsed (over 100) gave the direct answer to my question, so here goes
What kind of paint was used on the 82's? Was it an Enamel, Urethane, or a Base/Clear system?
The car I'm picking up has the original paint in excellent+ condition, but needs a bit of touch up in a few spots (scratches, dings, and a few small repairs on the front of the fenders)
I'd rather get the right paint for the job for ease of blending than have to respray the whole car because I got the wrong stuff.

Re: Early 3rd Paint questions
It's not good to put a lacquer over an enamel, otherwise chemistry really doesn't matter, just the color.
