Power window question

I picked up a replacement door for my camaro and the window is up. This is a power door. There are 2 wires coming from the power window motor. How would I get the window down without a switch while the door is out of the car being prepped? Can I just connect one of the wires to +12V to roll it down?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Power window question

If you don't have a spare car battery, a battery out of a cordless drill works too. That's how I got mine down, just touch the wires to the contacts and down they go.
