The door guards on my car are starting to fade. I looked under them and they are perfect red underneath and got to thinking. I could remove them and flip them over and have a perfect match red. But, it would'nt take much to respray them but I fear they would come out a different shade of red. Either way. Was wondering if anyone did this and what was involved? I have some pretty good 3M double sided trim tape that is exterior automotive grade. Actually got it from a body shop and it holds really good. Any tips would be greatfully appreciated.
