Hatch gear nut
I have a 92 camaro rs & the hatch pull down motor plastic gear nut has broken teeth on it. I see all over the internet that gm gear nut part 20160587 is for 86-91 camaro & firebirds. I cannot find a gear nut for a 92 camaro. Are the plastic gear nuts for the 86-91 different from the 92 year?

I bought a new motor from GM a while back for mine. It came with the gear housing also. Never really figured out if this is the newer style but the motor would not work on the old housing. I believe it came with a new gear also. It was quite a bit different from the old one.
