Putting on Ground Effects HELP!!!

I have a 89 firebird, its plain jane, i am wanting to make it look like a T/A. I got the rear T/A bumber cover. is there any brackets or anything on the body that supports the ground effects. please, if anyone knows, please help. thanks alot. Jay

Howdy there, well if your car is anything like my "Once Base Model" camaro, then the answer is yes. There is a bracket that goes on the body just below the doors that the rocker panel piece connects to. All the other pieces either attach through holes drilled in the body panels or like the nose I needed a complete different nose for my car. But the brackets below the doors are going to be the hardest since they have to be lined up correctly then tac welded into place to work. Hope this helps you out some, and if not then someone should correct me as to the differences between your Pontiac and my Camaro and how the ground effects mount on both. Take care now and good luck.
