Differences in 1990+ carpet?
Differences in 1990+ carpet?
I'm planning on replacing my carpet in my 88 GTA. YearOne says that the 90+ years recieved better higher qaulity carpet. Would there be a difference between my 88 and a 90+ carpet dimensionally? Would it fit?

I believe it will fit exactly. What are you doing dealing with YearOne?
Visit http://www.1aauto.com for carpet prices. I bought my "normal" carpet there for $120 including shipping... the carpet shipped right out of ACC's warehouse, and I got a bill a week later from 1a-auto's address.
Take a look at their carpet sets for the Pontaic Firebird. You'll see two part numbers, 2362 and 2362DP. DP stands for Deep Pile. That's the only change, as far as I can see. That carpet lists for $119.95, but when I called, somehow, they sold it to me for $109.95.
You can see an accurate representation of the factory colors at ACC's website, http://www.accmats.com -- click on "Place your order online", and work thru the links until you see the color choices. Then give 1a-auto a call!
Oh and besides, as to "fitment", the ACC carpet (as with the other noname brands) needs some custom trimming when you get it anyway.
