A few people pulled in my drive today and asked if they could buy the fiberglass hood off my scrapped 82 CFI Camaro. It needs to be repainted and the actuated intake flaps are falling appart, so I realy didnt have a clue what its worth and told them to stop back in a few days. I also have a steel hood from an early Z28 wich is nearly rust free except for 2 or 3 tiny spots, but still needs to be repainted. I dont mind selling them for a cheap price since wont be using either of them, I just need a rough idea so im not ripping myself of or them.

FWIW, If it's not worth anything to you, then anything you get for it is profit. I gave my steel hood away just to get it out of the shed. Check the classifieds for a better idea.

 

I recently sold a dented up 91 hood for $50. I didn't think it was worth anything, but the guy that bought it thought he was getting a great deal.
