I will soon be replacing some body panels on my IROC, due to an accident in which someone plowed into the driver side of me (and took off!). What kind of fasteners do you use to secure the driverside fender and nose to the rest of the Camaro? Is there some nut size, or some kind of special fastener I should use? Thank you for your time

I believe the fender is held on by 10mm bolts...take one from the passenger side and go to your local hardware store (Lowes, Eagles, or big chain store) and get a good dozen of these relatively cheap bolts rather than paying 2.25 or more each from Chevy. likewise w/the nose...take a sample off and go shopping

Thanks a ton. It's off to Lowes to go shopping. Don't you just LOVE spending money on cars?

You can also find those suckers in chain auto parts stores like Pep Boys and Strauss Auto, in the red "HELP" section. They sell them as "fender bolts", "fender shims" (what the bolts screw into), etc. Or you can go to a junkyard and pull a bunch off. I used to grab a few every time I went for something major, I'd put 'em on the counter with whatever I pulled, and was never charged. After a while I'd just throw 'em in the toolbox
