CRAZIEST Seat question you've ever heard...

I've heard a lot of seats are swappable across years and models with GM, and I'm planning on having both of my seats reupholstered at the same time over Spring Break this year. What I'm wondering is if I can put the passenger seat from a 95 Saturn (my dad's) in my bird to sit on while I wait for my seats to come back. Anyone?

It'd probably be a case of "trial and error" to see if the tracks off of your seats will bolt up to the bottom of the new seats. Give it a shot and find out!

I'm sure an adapter could be fabb'd out of 1/8" thick steel to make the f-body rails bolt to the Saturn seats, if all else fails. I doubt you'd have to cut a fancy shape into the steel, either. Just lay 4 pieces so they connect the seat bolt holes with the rail bolt holes, and use the right hardware to hook them up.

Let us know if you do it!
