Questions for all you Pontiac guys

Ok I have been a huge camaro fan forever, so when it came time to buy a 3rd gen I studied my history real well. But as far as firebirds and trans-ams go, I am still in the dark and I am diffenitely eyeing one for my next purchase (what is your guys thoughts on white?) and probibly give my brother my car.
Questions I need enlightening on:
1) what is the differance bodywise between the firebirds and trans-ams?
2) What years and what models came with the nose that looks kinda like the firehawks, those are the real sweet looking birds. Do they sell firehawk hoods and noses (rims are probibly impossible to find)
3) What body charecteristics distiguish the base firbirds from the GTA and formulas.

well to answer in order...

1) no differance in body..except..groundeffects,front and rear fascia, wrap around spoiler, and rim size,
and came with the louvoured hoods.

2)on ALL models between 91-92, the front fascia was changed and offered the sharknose look. (yes, these are sweet!!) by the way, the firehawk was created with the stock formula body starting in 91' and body wise the only thing different was the firehawk rims that SLP slapped on them.

3) formula did not come with ground effects,gta/ta did. both came with aerowing.formula came with teardrop cowl hood,gta/ta came with louvored hood. also, firebird and formula came with same bright striped rear lights, and gta & t/a came with smoked all red rear lenses.

i am sure i covered almost everything but hell..im sure someone else will expand on this if i failed to miss something..goodluck on your purchase. if ya want alittle more info on the gta/ta or formula, check out my site and click on links and you will find more than enough info...take care

The T/A's have that dope scoop in the front fenders. Atleast that's what I've heard.
