Ok, i think my little brother is going to buy a 1994 formula..when i tried the headlights they went up fine, but when I put them down they clicked really loud for about 10 seconds. I think the clicking was probably coming from the drivers side light. My question is is this a hard/ expensive thing to fix? I want to have an idea of what it is before we get the car. I know this is not a thirdgen, but maybe someone can help. Thanks!
When you take the assy apart you'll notice this round plastic gear, check to see if any of the teeth are missing or cracked, if they are just flip the gear around. Ive done this twice, its amazing how many of us just change the assy and its such an easy fix. But if too many of the teeth are broken, go to a junkyard and look for a replacement gear or a used assy. GM doesnt sell a replacement gear for the assembly.
