I bougt mine at the local dealership, I was slightly leary about the quality of the aftermarket seals that I had seen advertised. I als took mine to a glass shop it is possible to do it yourself, but if you put them on and the tops still leak you are SOL and have to start over. Maybe I was being too careful about the whole thing, but not one drop of water has com in since. Good Luck.

I got porked $300 for Soff Seal gaskets from Summit. They leak just like the stock ones I took off.

Just to let you know, there are 1st and 2nd designs for 1982-1991. If you get the wrong design from a dealer, like me, they will leak. I am not sure about aftermarket weatherstripping, but if there are two designs on GM strips, and one design from aftermarket strips, then you will leak.
In 1988 they have 1st and 2nd design. 1st design of the 88 has interlocking slider brackets. also in 88, the 2nd design does not have interlocking brackets, so the butt joints attach to the support mounting plates on the body. Oh and 1982-1987 and 1989-1991 have the 2nd design.GM have t-top weatherstrips with a drain provision at the butt joints (where they tend to leak).

I got the soft seel kit for $300 and the t-tops leaked. But i took some silicone to some certain spots and stopped all the leaks. and never had a problem since. The kit was a 11 piece kit and replace all door, hatch, and t-top weatherstripping.
