Hood mounted tach?

Whats every1s opinions on this. I've wanted to install a tach for a while and this popped into my mind today. I've never saw a 3rd gen w/ one and I thought I'd be an eyecatcher. I'm not talking about some big gaudy thing either. Just a nice sleek looking one like some of the old 60s muscle cars had!

I've seen them, and they don't look to bad on a 3rd gen.. I don't think I'd do it.. That would just give people more of a reason to annoy me and try to race when I have no intentions with my weak beaten 305.. If I had a nice pumped 350 in the car.. I'd say sure.

Hood tachs on a thirdgen aren't the greatest. You don't see it done for that one reason. My dads 1st gen Bird has one, and it looks good on the car, but I would never do it to my thirdgen. I might put gauges in my ram air hood on the rise, but wouldn't put one on the actual hood.
