I just bought a 1992 Camaro 25th anniversary edition with a 305 tbi and 5 speed. My question is The hood doesn't close all the way down it. When closed there is a 1 inch gap from the hood to the nose cone and when you push on the hood ir will close all the way but when you let up on the hood it springs back up to show the 1 inch gap.

It doesn't sound like it's latching completely. Was it hard to open? You probably just need to adjust the hood latch assembly. Not too hard.
