t-tops weatherstripping

did anyone every have the weather stipping replaced and if you did how much does it cost to have someone replace it for you.

I replaced mine about 7 years ago.
The seals cost around $200 for each side from the dealership.
No labor charges, I did it myself.
I'd estimate a labor time of at least 4 hrs.
It took me all day!

I posted a similar ? in Appearance. I'm leaning towards getting the seals (whole set for both sides) for $150 from Classic Industries. Someone mentioned a while back to be careful of where you get your seals from. Some aftermarket places design the seals differently and don't work as well. I think the Classic Industries ones will be fine.

I bought the seal kit for like $145 and did it myself. I took my time and did it in about a day. I believe there is a tech article here; at least there used to be one back in the day.

A friend paid almost $700 for a shop to do his, so it can be very cost effective to do it yourself.
