Rust destroying my T-Top! Help!
Does anyone know if the T-Top column (don't know what it's called) is replaceable?? If so, can someone send me a link to a website please. I can't seem to find any and I don't want to have to resort to a junkyard. (1984 Trans Am)

I've always called it the T-Top bar. I would prefer one from a junkyard actually since the cost is a fraction of the cost most anywhere else. They rust due to water leaking past the rubber seals. Some rust out and are unusable, while others are in near mint condition. I've pulled and sold a couple over the years but the shipping was about the same as what I got for them.

They have them on hawks, but they are pricey for a new one but this should fix it and stop it from doing it again http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/pr...2dTop-Bar.html

Junkyard for sure. That's one of the parts that I constantly see sellers trying to rip people off on. I got mine (totally rust-free) for $2 from a jy here. I've seen sellers ask as much as $300 for nice ones.
