you need the clips that go on the perimiter of the glass, the have slots that the lovor snaps into. If you buy one new you get them if not look around, if I can get mine off and you ned them I will give them to you. Let me know and I will try to get mine off. I dont have lovors but my car used to so the clips are still on the glass.

The ones I had a few years back(the window is tinted now) on my iroc came with two hinges for the top that hooked onto the edge of the glass and stayed in place with double-sided tape it also had 4 clips 2 on each side that clipped onto the edge of the glass and 4 posts underneath that were adjustable to keep pressure on the louver to keep it tight.
No drilling required!!!

BTW
I'm with Josh just tint the window.

There are a few different types out there. I just put a factory set on my car and it had clips that slide over the edges of the window, 2 at the top with double sided tape, 2 on each side that just slide on and 2 at the bottom that stick only to the window.

Another set I used to have had a metal strip that required the 4 bolts that hold the glas in be removed and the metal strip went under the heads. There were 4 screws connected to that metal strip. The Louvers screwed onto those at the top and connected to a slide on clip, one on each side.

My recommendation would be to find a factory styled set. The other kind can shatter the back window if you over tighten the bolts and hit a pot hole or drop the rear window too hard.

By the way, I still loke the looks of louvers. That's why I just put a set on my car!
