Will a 96 T/A steering wheel fit an 86? I dont care that the airbag wont work (and an 86 dont have one anyways), i just like how the late model ones look. Will it be a direct fit or are the splines on the steering shaft different?

The spline should be the same... but the spacing will probably be wrong. You might end up with a 1/2" gap between the wheel and the steering column shell, or it might rub.
